Preppers

Preppers is an exhibition which examines the global subculture of doomsday preppers and their distinct aesthetics, jargon and apocalyptic fantasies. Around the world thousands of people are steadfastly preparing for the end of civilisation as we know it. They are a manifestation of widespread cultural anxieties which permeate modern society.

The exhibition branding was required to work within Fremantle Arts Centre’s visual guidelines whilst also maintaining a consistent style with existing materials from previous Preppers exhibitions. Utilising a pattern from an exhibiting artwork by Dan McCabe, the invitation echoed the exhibition’s dark, minimalist mood.
